The School Council brings together representatives of :
- Administration (6 seats: head of diplomatic post, school principal and deputies, secretary general, principal education advisor, primary school principal)
- Teachers (5 seats)
- Plant administration (1 seat)
- Parents (4 seats)
- Students (2 seats).

Role
The School Council is responsible for all aspects of the school’s pedagogical and educational life, but cannot replace the Board of Management or the Agency in their own areas of management.
The school project, the pedagogical part of which is based on proposals from the pedagogical and educational teams, is adopted by the School Council.
The Board also gives its opinion on proposals for structural changes, job descriptions, and the scheduling and financing of school trips, in line with the project, as well as on :
- the school year calendar and timetable, in compliance with current legislation
- internal regulations
- the activities of associations and clubs operating on the premises
- hygiene, health and safety conditions, and the work to be carried out in these areas
- the work of the training unit, which organizes ongoing training for staff
The Council may, on its own initiative or at the request of the head of the school, give its opinion on all matters concerning the life of the school.
It is kept informed of the school’s budget and financial accounts.
Chaired by the Head of School, the School Council is a tripartite body made up of ex-officio members representing the administration, representatives of school staff and representatives of parents and students.
The School Council meets in ordinary session at the initiative of the Head of School at least once every school term. Extraordinary meetings may also be called at the request of the Cultural Advisor, the Head of School or at least half of the voting members, on a specific agenda.
