Dear parents,
UPMD volunteer parents, in partnership with Mr Pierre Onana, sports teacher at LFI Duras and Français Du Monde – ADFE Vietnam association, is pleased to inform you that Saturday Football Activity will resume for 2023-2024 school year, following the numerous request received from the children.
This activity is for those in class of 6ème and upwards.
Attention : UPMD Saturday Football Activity is totally independent of UNSS activities organised by LFI Duras and AEFE. UNSS licence is compulsory to participate in sporting events organised as part of competitions scheduled by the school and the AEFE. UPMD is therefore not responsible for the organisation of these competitions.
Mr Onana has taken care of the organisation and a football pitch has been reserved on Saturday mornings for training. A second coach will also be present to train the children together with Mr. Onana.
The training sessions will take place over a total of 30 Saturdays (link to download training schedule)
Enrolment fees are VND 5,000,000 per child.
1 – Details :
- Registration campaign opening date: 18 September 2023
- Closing date of the registration campaign: 29 September 2023 (midnight)
- Training location: 146 Nam Hòa, Phước Long A, Quận 9 Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh (146 Nam Hòa)
Two sessions of 2 hours each:
- 8am – 10am: U13 category and the girls of the school
- 10am -12pm: U15 and U18 categories
2 – MANDATORY conditions for attending Saturday football activities:
- Be up to date with your UPMD 2023-2024 membership fees (you will be asked for your membership number)
- Have paid registration fee
- Have completed the registration form using the following link: – Registration form –

3 – Payment (cash only) :
A sealed envelope containing
- Child’s surname, first name and class (e.g. 6C, 2A)
- Your 2023-24 UPMD membership number
- The exact amount of 5,000,000 vnd per child
Envelope delivery: 2 options
1 – Hand in the envelope at the UPMD office during office opening hours.
2 – Hand in the envelope to Mr Onana
Deadline for payment : 29 September 2023
Registrations will only be considered valid if the above requirements are scrupulously respected. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
UPMD Families members with scholarships, get in contact with us! Upon presentation of your scholarship certificate (year 2023-2024) issued by the French Consulate in HCMC, your child(ren)’s enrolment fees will be fully paid by Français Du Monde – ADFE Vietnam, as part of its “Pas à Pas” project, a programme to support activities conducted in French.
