Primary: Kindergarten and Elementary
The School Council covers the primary level, i.e. kindergarten and elementary (unlike the School Council, which covers primary and secondary). Chaired by the school principal, it meets once a term (3 times a year) to make decisions concerning school life, vote on the school’s internal rules and adopt the school project.
It consists of :
- School management
- teachers (12 votes)
- A specialist teacher (1 vote)
- Parents’ representatives (12 votes)
In an advisory capacity :
- Head or deputy head
- General Secretary
- National education inspector in residence
It is an institutional consultative body that gives its opinion on the main issues of school life.
It meets to take decisions concerning school life, vote on the school’s internal regulations and adopt the school project.
